🚨BREAKING: New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel is facing intense backlash after receiving a standing ovation from fans following his off-field scandal. Prominent critics, including major political activists, have slammed the warm welcome, accusing the coach of damaging his family and ruining a reporter’s career.👇

“Destroyed a Woman’s Career”: Donald Trump Supporter Goes Off on Mike Vrabel Amid Cheating Scandal as Wife Jen’s Marital Status Leaked

The off-field scandal involving Mike Vrabel has become a major NFL story. It began on April 7, when photos surfaced of the New England Patriots head coach and reporter Dianna Russini at an adults-only resort in Arizona.

Russini resigned from The Athletic following an internal investigation into her conduct and reporting. Mike remains the head coach in New England but missed part of the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling.

He is now back in Foxborough. However, the standing ovation he received from New England fans has drawn a backlash online, particularly from high-profile critics and prominent Donald Trump supporters

Donald Trump supporter explodes on Mike Vrabel after New England fans give him standing ovation

On Tuesday night, Mike appeared at a Q&A session for Patriots season ticket holders at Gillette Stadium and received a standing ovation. The video, shared by Barstool Sports and confirmed by Dave Portnoy, has since turned viral online. And not everyone received it well.

Vince Langman, a Chicago-based MAGA activist with over 559,000 followers on X who identifies himself as a Trump 2028 supporter, strongly criticized the warm welcome the 50-year-old coach received at the stadium.

“Mike Vrabel cheated on his wife and kids for over six years, destroyed a woman’s career, lied about it multiple times, and the sycophant New England fans gave him a standing ovation at a season ticket holder event,” Langman wrote. “I hope [they] lose every game next season.”

NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry noted that analyst Scott Zolak prompted the crowd to turn simple applause into a full standing ovation. However, the locker room is reportedly less enthusiastic.

While veterans have publicly backed him, former captain Devin McCourty told Pro Football Talk that younger players might have a harder time ignoring the drama than older players. With training camp approaching, this is a major test for a coach whose reputation is built on personal accountability.

Jen Vrabel’s marital status leaked

Aside from those hardcore critics, his wife Jen Vrabel is the one dealing with the real damage. New details suggest she looks “broken” and is struggling with being judged by friends, family, and strangers

According to the Daily Mail, a source close to her said, “Jen is p——-, embarrassed, and horrified that this is her life right now… It is a nightmare. But as much as the trust has been broken, the ’till death do us part’ is what she is trying to make work. And with the trust that has been broken, she is looking to see if Mike can be the man she fell in love with and if he will put in the work to actually change.”

She and Mike had a marriage summit in Utah over the weekend, where they reportedly addressed the current state of their marriage.

Mike is in a unique position in New England. Because he took the team to a Super Bowl last season, many fans are ready to forgive him. Whether his wife reaches that same conclusion remains to be seen.
