BREAKING : 🔴 Kansas City Chiefs’ Andy Reid Drops Honest Take on Rookie Performances in Week 2 – You Won’t Believe Who Impressed Most 👀

Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs in position to break records with playoff win

The Kansas City Chiefs’ defense faces numerous injuries, with Mike Danna and Kristian Fulton leaving their Week 2 game early.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed reporters via Zoom on Monday to give his thoughts on the performances of rookie defensive players Ashton Gillotte and Nohl Williams stepping up in Week 2.

“I would tell you I thought they (Ashton Gillotte and Nohl Willams) did a solid job in there,” said Reid, “I liked the effort, I liked them hustling, getting themselves to the ball (and) getting off blocks up front. I thought Williams did a nice job on a couple of coverages down the field. I thought they were very respectable.”

Gillotte and Williams will likely see more action if the injuries to veterans are long-term. Defensive lineman Danna sustained a hip injury, and defensive back Fulton injured his ankle. Both are experienced players that coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will count on during the season as he works in the highly touted rookie class.
