Several fans took pictures of the woman, who at a quick glance looked nearly identical to Swift, and the Swifties (and Chiefs Kingdom) hysteria began that the Grammy winner was in Kansas City watching a soccer game.

“That was Kelley Thrasher of Johnson County, a full-time nanny who has become a popular Taylor Swift tribute artist in Kansas City,” the publication wrote.

Fans thought Taylor was at the soccer game without Kelce for a fleeting minute, but this was quickly put to bed. Swift and Kelce haven’t been seen out all too often, with their public appearances being very selective since the Super Bowl.

The couple has reportedly enjoyed some much-needed downtime, with their schedules perhaps the quietest they’ve been in over a year. That’s why the reported Swift sighting caused so much hype and hysteria among fans.

But alas, it was a mere lookalike, with Swift and Kelce still very much out of the public eye right now.
