A fifth fan noted, “So tuff how he goes on a knee”. While Connor Bedard has recorded a consistent performance on the ice this season, the Chicago Blackhawks have been eliminated from the playoffs after it faced its sixth loss in a row last night against the Los Angeles Kings.
The star player, Connor Bedard, spoke about the loss after the match. As per the Chicago Sun-Times, Connor Bedard said, “We’ve got so many young guys that every game is important, just for growth and trying to improve.”
Connor Bedard added, “We’re not fighting for a playoff spot or anything, but we’re trying to get better. We’re still competitors.”
While Connor Bedard has been in the news for the penalty he received for “abuse of officials” a few days ago, he has also been advised by NHL analyst Craig Button to not sign a long term extension “too early”.
Craig Button appeared on the Donnie & Dhali podcast recently and said, “there is nothing in Chicago that makes you think staying is beneficial”. Connor Bedard is yet to react on this.
