BREAKING : šŸ”„ Emmanuel Acho Shuts Down Travis Kelce Drama with Bold Advice for Andy Reid & Patrick Mahomes! šŸ’„

Emmanuel Acho 'puts out' Travis Kelce flame with tough advice to Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes | Marca

Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho has suggested that Kansas City Chiefs needs to change its plans if it is to snatch back the Super Bowl next season.

The Chiefs were on the cusp of history last month as they came into the Super Bowl against the Eagles, knowing that a win would make them the first team to ever win three Super Bowls in a row.

The Eagles won handsomely and the Chiefs have been licking their wounds since, which much of the focus on whether Kelce will retire and if Andy Reid will step away from his post.

Neither of those two things has ended up happening, but Acho thinks that some reflection is still needed if they are to avoid making the same mistakes.

Travis Kelce needs to be the icing, not the cake. Let’s build a team that can win a Super Bowl without Travis Kelce and be glad that we have Travis Kelce,” Acho said on FS1’s ‘The Facility’.

“We need to stop depending on Kelce to go for 10-plus touchdowns. I don’t want to depend on him to beat man coverage anymore, because the tape suggested he’s not as good doing that at 35, 36 as he was at 25, 26. And that’s fair. I don’t think the Chiefs should still depend on Kelce to be that guy,” he added.

Kelce is sticking around

Despite so much speculation, Kelce will be sticking with the Chiefs for another season and he recently explained his decision on the New Heights Podcast.

“I think the biggest thing is that I f-king love playing the game of football,” Kelce said. “I still feel like I can play at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year. I don’t think it was my best outing. I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them.

“Especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past. I want to give it a good run. I have a bad taste in my mouth in how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me. And I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility and in the community, and it’s home for me.

“I don’t want leave that life yet. I’ve put on a lot of hard work and a lot of focus into being the best that I can for KC. Last year, it didn’t end well for us and I feel like there is a responsibility in me to play out the contract I initially signed to give Kansas City and the Chiefs organization everything I’ve got and that’s what I’m gonna do, man.”
