Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to face their biggest test of the season thus far. This comes in the form of a highly anticipated matchup against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium with the AFC Championship and a spot in the Super Bowl at stake.
Kelce has already revealed how “excited” he is for what he believes will be a “dog fight” against the Bills. The Chiefs have faced this team many times in the past and they are well aware of what Allen and Co. are capable of.
On Saturday, roughly 24 hours before the much-awaited clash, Kelce took to Instagram to post another strong message ahead of the AFC Championship Game.
“WHEN IT MATTERS MOST!!!” he captioned his post, sharing a hype video that featured highlights of Kansas City’s Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Recording artist Taylor Swift, who has been dating Kelce for well over a year now, was in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ 23-14 victory over the Texans. The “Fortnight” singer is also expected to watch the big game on Sunday, which has her fans all excited.
Swifties wasted no time jumping on Kelce’s comments section to share their thoughts on their idol’s boyfriend.
“love the eras beanie ” a fan notice.
“THE GUY FROM THE CHIEFS ” a comment read, referencing Swift’s nod for Kelce during her “Eras Tour” concerts.
“You have that James Dean day dream look in your eyes ” a Swiftie wrote, quoting Swift’s song “Style.”
“My man Travis looks 22 all over again ” reacted a user, referencing another Swift track (“22”).
“Taylor is a lucky gal” commented another.
“Ok we see you with that Lover aesthetic outfit ” said a Swiftie, alluding to Swift’s “Lover” album.
Kelce is already one of the most popular players in the NFL, but there’s no denying that his reach multiplied thanks to Swift. He’s embraced all of it and has had nothing but love for his fellow Swifties.
A win on Sunday against the Bills will see the Chiefs advance to the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans’ Superdome on Feb. 9. Swift was in attendance for last year’s showdown as the Chiefs took down the San Francisco 49ers en route to their second straight championship, and she will very likely be there for Kelce again if the Chiefs make it.
