CINCINNATI — The Athletic’s Dane Brugler dropped a two-round NFL mock draft this week. He has the Bengals rolling with Georgia edge rusher Mykel Williams at Pick 17.

Williams is the 11th-best player on the consensus big board and the second-best edge rusher.

“Last year, the Bengals drafted a toolsy offensive lineman from Georgia in the first round (Amarius Mims),” Brugler wrote. “They flip to the other side of the ball and do it again in this mock. Williams looked like a future top-10 pick as a freshman, but he didn’t quite reach dominant status over his three seasons in Athens. The talent, however, is there for him to grow into a game-wrecker off the edge.”

Next, he had Cincinnati rolling with Purdue swing offensive lineman Marcus Mbow at Pick 49. The blocker played guard and offensive tackle at Purdue.

He is the consensus 73rd-best player overall and 10th-best offensive tackle.
