Brittany Mahomes gave a heart-warming glimpse into her young family as the 29-year-old prepares to welcome her third child in the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week, before Patrick Mahomes turns his attention to NFL Playoffs glory.
Brittany posted her final photos celebrating her family ahead of the news that she will give birth on either Sunday, January 12 or be induced on January 13 as her clan with the quarterback prepares to grow by one extra person.
One photo included her eldest child, Sterling Skye, wearing a princess outfit as the three-year-old smiled beamingly, clearly enjoying the dress-up moment in light blue and pink, with a pink bow on the top of her head as she prepared for a birthday party.
“Hello 2025, we’re ready for you little one,” Brittany also said, in a collage of photos uploaded to Instagram on January 8 as she posed in all-white in a photoshoot, smiling at the camera and cradling her modest baby bump.
When is Super Bowl LIV?
The timing of the birth comes as good news for Patrick’s Super Bowl ambitions since he won’t be on the field in that moment due to the Chiefs earning a first round bye for leading the AFC Conference at the end of the regular season.
The 15-2 side will take on the Houston Texans in the Divisional Game, whilst the Baltimore Ravens await the winner of the Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills or Bo Nix‘s Denver Broncos on Sunday, which begins at 13:00 ET/10:00 PT.
The Chiefs are chasing an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl win and their fourth since 2019, and they only have to win two games to reach Super Bowl LIX. The 59th championship game will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9. Kendrick Lamar will perform the half-time show.
