FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions will play on Sunday Night Football, this week (1/5), with the No. 1 seed in the NFC on the line.

The Vikings have won nine games in a row. A win over the Lions would clinch their first top seed since 1998.

The winner will have the only first round bye in the NFC and home field advantage throughout the playoffs (until the Super Bowl). The loser will likely have the #5 seed (since they won’t be a division champion) and would face a road game in the opening round.

Kickoff is set for 7:20pm CT Sunday from Ford Field in Detroit. You can watch the game on NBC (KVLY).
