The Kansas City Chiefs have released their 2025 NFL schedule and it looks like it will be a long season of travel and interference with prior commitments for Travis Kelce.
Kelce publicly revealed his dread at the upcoming schedule on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast when he revealed that the Chiefs would be opening their season against the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
But now, the full scale of the Chiefs calendar has been revealed – and Kelce may not enjoy it at all.
Kelce previously complained about playing in Brazil’s heat and humidity on the podcast.
‘This isn’t out until Wednesday? Yeah, we’re definitely playing in Brazil,’ Kelce said. ‘I’ll be there, not to do a podcast. I’ll be playing football in the f***ing heat.’
Older brother Jason, whose former team Philadelphia Eagles played in Brazil last season, told Kelce the field was ‘atrocious’ for their 2024 game against Green Bay Packers.

Well, after that rave review of Everbank Field, the Chiefs will indeed be traveling down to Jacksonville… the day after Kelce’s birthday.
One positive for Kelce is that he’ll be at home for the birthday of girlfriend Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs host the Chargers on December 14, with Swift’s birthday coming the day before.
Nine days after their game in Brazil, the Chiefs have a Super Bowl re-match against the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 2.
Two weeks after that re-match, the Chiefs have a gauntlet of high-powered teams to face.
Kansas City begins the toughest part of their schedule with their Week 4 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. They then travel to Jacksonville for Kelce’s birthday weekend.
Following that are three tough teams in a four-game stretch. The Chiefs host the Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders, and Washington Commanders at home to finish out October before beginning November with a road trip to Orchard Park to take on the Buffalo Bills.

Making matters worse, Kelce will spend his birthday weekend in Jacksonville after he publicly admitted his distaste for playing in the warm and humid weather found in the Florida city
However, he will be home for Taylor Swift’s birthday in mid-December this season

In total, Kelce and KC will play in eight standalone games and seven primetime games in 2025
Later in the schedule, the Chiefs will be playing on two holidays. First, they travel to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
Then, for the third year in a row, the Chiefs will be playing on Christmas Day when they host the Denver Broncos.
The total schedule sees the Chiefs play in eight standalone games and seven primetime games.
Since the loss in Super Bowl LIX to the Eagles, Kelce has kept a more low profile than the summer prior.
He’s made routine appearances on ‘New Heights’, but hasn’t been seen out and about as much.
Of course, that may be due to the fact that he isn’t globetrotting while following Swift on her Eras Tour like in 2024. They were seen in New York City in March going out for dinner, but have kept things relatively quiet compared to last year.

However, the couple have been spotted out recently. They were seen at Talula’s Garden for the meal in Washington Square, Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, according to various social media reports.
And it appears they were joined by multiple members of the Kelce family for the Mother’s Day meal, with Kylie and Jason Kelce joining alongside Travis and Jason’s mom, Donna.
Now, Kelce is set to head to Hollywood for a charity gala headlined by a number of other celebrities.
Kelce, 35, nearly retired in February in the aftermath of the Super Bowl defeat.
But he eventually announced he is coming back for at least one more season, partly because he didn’t want his glittering career to end on such a low note.
