What's CeeDee Lamb hiding? A $1.3M secret to being the NFL's elite WR for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys | Marca

The Dallas Cowboys will need the best version of CeeDee Lamb to help Dak Prescott during the upcoming NFL season, although the Wide Receiver’s message to everyone is “don’t worry,” as he’s taking maximum care of himself to continue being one of the best in his position and to prove why he’s earned four Pro Bowl appearances and three All-Pro honors.

CeeDee Lamb’s care costs millions

Achieving these accolades and performing at such a high level comes with a steep price, one that perhaps only an NFL player can afford. Thanks to his $34 million per season salary, the Cowboys’ WR allocates a significant portion to maintaining his body.

It’s part of his commitment to staying among the elite.

In a recent interview with Complex, CeeDee Lamb casually revealed how much he invests in his body to withstand the physical demands of the grueling NFL.

“I’m not going to lie. It’s a lot of money,” Lamb commented. “Every two weeks is $50,000… There’s 52 weeks in a year… That’s your number.”

So, if the math doesn’t lie, the total adds up to about $1.3 million per year to take care of his body.

It’s clear that this is a very worthwhile investment, considering the player continues to perform in the league, where he’s regarded as one of the best.

CeeDee Lamb isn’t the only one

Not long ago, NBA champion with the Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown, revealed that he invests between $500,000 and $700,000 to take care of himself, citing that a player like LeBron James spends around $1 million to stay at the highest level.

While they are two completely different beasts, it’s clear that high-performance athletes have prioritized staying healthy to remain among the best in their disciplines.
