The Draft Is Over. But Dallas Just Added A 343-Pound Wall Of Humanity Who Bends Defensive Lines. This Udfa Is Not A Normal Human

The 2026 NFL Draft has concluded, but the Dallas Cowboys’ work is far from finished.

In one of their most intriguing post-draft moves, Dallas signed undrafted free agent offensive lineman Sidney Fugar from Baylor.

At 6-foot-5 and a staggering 343 pounds, Fugar is a true wall of humanity who can dominate the line of scrimmage.

His rare size gives him the power to bend defensive lines and create chaos in the trenches.

While the Cowboys may eventually want him to trim down slightly, his massive frame makes him a fascinating prospect.

Fugar primarily played left tackle during his college career at Baylor but also has interior line experience.

Dallas is counting on that versatility to add much-needed depth across their offensive line.

Fugar was central to Baylor’s remarkable turnaround in the 2024 college football season.

After starting the year 2-4, the Bears moved him to left tackle and responded with seven consecutive victories.

Yet Fugar stayed humble when asked about his personal role in the team’s resurgence.

“It wasn’t me, it was all of us,” he said, emphasizing the unity and toughness of Baylor’s offensive line.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, used the draft to aggressively address their defense after allowing a league-worst 511 points.

Five of their seven selections were defensive players, reflecting a clear focus on stopping opponents.

Still, significant concerns remain on the offensive side, especially at left tackle.

Coach Brian Schottenheimer is weighing options that include sliding Tyler Smith out to tackle and benching Tyler Guyton.

To add competition, Dallas selected Penn State left tackle Drew Shelton in the fourth round.

Shelton offers a potential future solution, though immediate contributions are far from guaranteed.

Sidney Fugar faces even longer odds of cracking the starting lineup anytime soon.

Nevertheless, his extraordinary size and athletic potential make him a high-upside developmental player.

In the brutal world of NFL trench warfare, the Cowboys have added another massive piece with real long-term promise.
