On a personal level, his wife Brittany Mahomes is on the brink of giving birth to their third child. In fact, the Chiefs star quarterback revealed on Monday that his better half is due to give birth on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes also said that if Brittany Mahomes doesn’t give birth on Sunday, she will be induced on Monday.

Brittany Mahomes took to Instagram on Wednesday to share her latest maternity photos. The 29-year-old soon-to-be mom-of-three was wearing a white unbuttoned long-sleeve shirt paired with comfortable white pants.

Brittany Mahomes also sent an eight-word message before her third child’s birth.

“Hello 2025 we’re ready for you little one” she captioned her post.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes previously revealed that they are expecting a daughter. This will be their second girl after they welcomed their eldest child, Sterling Skye, in February 2021. Their only son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, born November 2022, is now about to be a big brother.

As for Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs’ first-round bye comes at the perfect time. He should be able to be with his wife when she gives birth, and the reigning Super Bowl MVP will be around to help out in the crucial first few days at home.

He will then turn his attention to his day job as the Chiefs prepare for the Divisional Round. Kansas City is aiming for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat this season, and Patrick Mahomes will have some extra motivation at home.
