The Chicago Bears gave their fans a reason to smile on Sunday, as they eked out a 24-22 win over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field to end a brutal 11-game losing streak on Sunday.  To celebrate the rare victory against the Packers, the Bears posted an image of a cheese grater on social media along with the caption “Grate win” to troll Green Bay.

That post has sparked countless mixed reactions from fans on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter). Here are some of them:

“good job getting to 5 wins !!” sarcastically stated by a commenter.

“Bro had this in the drafts for many years,” commented another fan.

“I love how we’re celebrating this win like we won the super bowl. I’m so for it too, we deserve to celebrate. First win against the Packers in 7 years. First road win in 3 years. First win since Week 6 this season. Love you guys no matter what. 🐻⬇️,” said a fan.

Another comment read: “Bears social media intern been cooking this one up for 3 years”

Via another X user: “Congrats on beating the Green Bay scout team. You get 9 whole months to savor this epic feat!”

The Bears struck first in the Packers game with a Josh Blackwell 94-yard punt return touchdown. Chicago running back D’Andre Swift rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter to extend the Bears’ lead to 11 points following a Cari Santos extra-point kick.

Packers running back Josh Jacobs then scored a touchdown before Brandon McManus scored a field goal from 30 yards away to trim Chicago’s lead down to a point before halftime. Chicago created some breathing room with a touchdown reception by DJ Moore in the third quarter but a rushing touchdown by Emmanuel Wilson and another field goal by McManus with under a minute left in regulation put the Packers in front. That lead didn’t last long, though, as Santos drained a 51-yard field goal to give Chicago the win.
