“🏈 Breaking News: Andy Reid Reveals Crucial Update on Star Chiefs Player – You Won’t Believe What’s Next!”

  • Andy Reid delivers major update on key Chiefs player - after fracturing his leg in Week 2 win | Daily Mail Online

The Kansas City Chiefs could see a major player make a return off their injury list over the course of the next few weeks as the top team in the AFC continues to roll.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that running back Isiah Pacheco, who has been off the field since Week 2, is making some serious progress on returning from an injury.

Pacheco has been on the injured reserve list since Week 3 with a fractured fibula at his ankle joint and was expected to miss between six and eight weeks.

It’s been about six weeks since Pacheco underwent surgery to fix his injury, so now is about the time that he could make a return.

‘He’s getting there, but he’s doing fantastic,’ Reid told reporters, but did not specify when Pacheco could make a return to the field.

‘I mean, he’s really doing well, but we just, you know, between the trainers and doctors and all… that’s out of my hands there. But he’s getting there, he’s making great progress.’

Pacheco is in his third NFL season after being taken in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Rutgers.

In his first two NFL seasons, Pacheco topped 800 yards on the ground – setting a career high in Year 2 with 935 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

So far this season, in the two games he’s played, Pacheco has 34 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown.
