HOT NEWS: Joe Burrow goes viral for his take on Halloween

Joe Burrow received a huge compliment this week when a famous celebrity dressed up as him for Halloween, but don’t expect to see the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback in a costume anytime soon.

“I’m not into celebrating something just to celebrate it. What exactly … I don’t know exactly what we’re celebrating there. Just like, dress up to dress up? I don’t know. I’m not a big dress-up guy. I’ve always been like anti-dress code. If somebody tells me I gotta where something, I don’t wanna wear that. That’s just always how I’ve been.”

Ever since Burrow became a household name, people have joked that he looks like actor Macaulay Culkin. The “Home Alone” legend is well aware of those comparisons, which is why he chose to dress up as Burrow for Halloween this year. Culkin crushed the costume:

Burrow had to have at least gotten a laugh out of that.

The Bengals are off to a 3-5 start, so perhaps Burrow is solely focused on getting things turned around in Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Either way, it’s surprising to hear he dislikes Halloween that much. Heck, even Bill Belichick is a big Halloween guy.
