Jason Kelce just made a playful nod to Taylor Swift – and her favorite number – on the latest episode of “New Heights.”

“It’s the holidays and our friends at Accelerator are hooking the holidays up. When you go to Accelerator.com and use code Pop1387 you can get a case of orange ice-pop for only $13.87,” Jason, 37, said during a sponsored segment on the Tuesday, December 24, episode of his and Travis Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast. “I wonder what the 13 is for?”

While Jason knows the 87 is a direct nod to Travis’ jersey number for the Kansas City Chiefs, the retired Eagles player couldn’t help but tease his little brother.

“It’s probably because it’s my favorite number, right?” Jason jokingly asked, while Travis, 35, haphazardly agreed before pointing out that “Friday the 13th was a few weeks ago,” which was Swift’s 35th birthday.

“Well I was 13 in hockey,” Jason explained.

While Jason previously repped No. 13 during his youth sports days, Swifties know all too well that 13 holds a special place in Swift’s heart. In addition to being her birthdate, it’s been the pop star’s lucky number over the years and has been featured as an Easter Egg on multiple occasions.

Since Travis and Swift started dating in summer 2023, both Jason and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have made not-so-subtle references to Swift and her lucky number on their podcast. The first time they mentioned No. 13, was when Travis and Jason traveled to London in June – the same time Swift was performing at Wembley Stadium – and recorded an episode from a bar that resembled Philadelphia. During the broadcast, the brothers enjoyed a beer that was brought out by a bar manager who donned a uniform bearing the No. 13 – and Travis noticed instantly.

“Jessi, are you wearing 13 as your lucky number?” he asked, which she confirmed.

Travis noted that he also “know[s] someone” with the same lucky number. Jason chimed in that 13 used to also be his favorite number and wore it when he played hockey as a kid.

“13 plus 87, I’m just sayin’, it works,” Travis teased before raising a glass with his brother.

In addition to Travis paying homage to his girlfriend’s favorite digit, she has also rocked 87 – especially when attending Chiefs games. Swift has donned jewelry, a Santa hat and even a puffer coat designed by Kristin Juszczyk with Travis’ number on it.
