Lions Coach Dan Campbell Shares News on Possible Return of Two Key Detroit Defenders - Athlon Sports

The Detroit Lions took care of business on the road against Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, leaving no doubt as to their status as NFC Championship contenders after a string of injuries in recent weeks.

On Monday, Lions coach Dan Campbell shared the latest intel on possible returns of two of the Lions’ most talented defenders, each of whom has missed significant playing time this season with Detroit.

Campbell said that linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin could be back for Detroit’s game against the 49ers on Monday, December 30.

Reeves-Maybin has seven tackles and one forced fumble this season in limited action after playing in 17 games with Detroit last season.

The ex-Tennessee Volunteers star has not played since Nov. 3 against the Green Bay Packers and has spent time on injured reserve after suffering a neck injury against CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans in Week 9.

Campbell added that offensive guard/center Graham Glasgow is expected back this week.

Linebacker Alex Anzalone is “close” to starting his practice clock according to Campbell, who added, “I don’t know about this week.”
