Green Bay Packers Fans Push Back On Los Angeles Rams’ Intriguing Announcement

At this point, many Green Bay Packers fans are already familiar with the theory about quarterback Jordan Love being at his best during “Toyotathon.”

It is an absurd theory involving two unrelated subjects, one being Love’s performance and the other being a promo meant to spark car sales. It simply doesn’t make sense, but the internet seems convinced enough that Toyotathon is having a positive impact on Love.

So when the Los Angeles Rams posted a Christmas greeting on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter) showing wide receiver Puka Nacua in a sweater that has “Merry Toyotathon” print on it and a caption that read “Merry Toyotathon to all who celebrate,” many fans felt they had to say something it.

“Culture appropriation much?”

“They weren’t lying when they said the NFL is a copycat league.”

“Better have a Jordan Love picture on the back.”

“Didn’t know Puka was a Jordan Love fan.”

“The Rams are rooting for the Packers confirmed”

“Everyone wants to be Jordan Love so badly”

“He wants to be a packer so bad smh lol”

In any case, the Packers are indeed enjoying — and benefiting from — the recent surge on the field by Love, who has passed for 872 yards and seven touchdowns against zero interceptions on a 67.35 percent completion rate in the last four Green Bay games.
