Horrifying moment Lions star Khalil Dorsey suffers gruesome injury before being carted off in front of concerned teammates | Daily Mail Online

Detroit Lions cornerback Khalil Dorsey suffered a horrifying leg injury on Sunday afternoon that required him to be carted off the field.

Dorsey was on the field as the Buffalo Bills were in the red zone and trying to score when they ran a pass play.

While Dorsey was in coverage, he ran into teammate Ezekiel Turner and appeared to snap his leg in the process.

Dorsey was down for a while – requiring the CBS broadcast to go to two commercial breaks – as both sidelines emptied to gather around him.

Eventually, he was carted off the field while his leg was in an air cast as all of Ford Field applauded him.

The Lions have officially ruled Dorsey out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury.
