Patrick Mahomes Throws 2 TDs, Injures Ankle in Kansas City Chiefs 21-7 Win over Cleveland Browns - Athlon Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs headed to Cleveland to take on the Browns in the rain on Sunday in a game that could come down to who wins the line of scrimmage late.

Both teams have dealt with significant injuries at key positions all season. This week, it was newcomer D.J. Humphries who was supposed to shore up the offensive line, but a hamstring has kept him out of practice all week after he made his first start for KC last week.

And now, late in the game with the Chiefs up 21-7. Patrick Mahomes has limped off and has been replaced by Carson Wentz.

Kicker Harrison Butker returned to active duty this week and was questionable during the week after coming back from a left knee injury. … and he’s struggled. But Mahomes is the big story in a video going viral. …

Wideout Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is also returning from a shoulder injury but will not suit up on Sunday.
