BREAKING: Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco fined $45k for use of helmet vs. Chargers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco was issued a fine for unnecessary roughness vs. the Los Angeles Chargers last week.

Pacheco was fined $45,020 for lowering his helmet, causing a collision with Chargers cornerback Kristian Fulton on a run midway through the second quarter.

He was not flagged for the act. Pacheco is currently on the third year of his four year, $3.7 million rookie contract.

Pacheco is getting back into rhythm with the the postseason approaching as he missed nine games with a fractured fibula.

He finished the game with 14 carries for 55 yards. The Chiefs ended up winning the game 19-17 thanks to a Matthew Wright field goal that bounced off the upright and went in.

The Chiefs will look to maintain the first seed in the AFC as they Cleveland Browns on the road at 12 p.m. tomorrow.
