Packers injury report: Jaire Alexander set to miss 4th straight game, Musgrave and Bullard out

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – With Green Bay (9-4) heading to Seattle for a Sunday night showdown with the NFC West-leading Seahawks (8-5), head coach Matt LaFleur and the Packers announced their final practice week injury report on Friday afternoon.

The biggest news is that LaFleur announced cornerback Jaire Alexander will miss his fourth straight game due to a knee injury he suffered against Jacksonville in October. Alexander played through it once, against Chicago, but had to leave early.

The decision to hold Alexander out of the game was made to lessen the risk of him aggravating the injury further. The veteran corner has played in just seven of Green Bay’s 13 games this season.

“Just based on what I saw over the last couple of days, I didn’t feel like he’s ready to play,” LaFleur said in a post-practice presser. “There’s certain requirements to get out there and go play; certain speeds and whatnot, when you’re not hitting them, you’re not ready to play.”

Rookie safety Javon Bullard was not at practice on Friday either, and he was ruled out for Sunday night with his ankle injury. Tight end Luke Musgrave was limited in practice all week but has also been ruled out with an ankle injury.

The Packers’ full injury report is as follows, according to the team website.
