BREAKING: Dallas Cowboys start making moves and put their eyes on a promising young college player

It’s only a matter of weeks before the great failure of Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys is made official, as they will need more than a miracle to make the playoffs. With this in mind, it is not unreasonable for the management led by Jerry Jones to start making a series of moves.

It was no secret that this season Dallas suffered from injuries, starting with Dak Prescott, the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, who was sidelined by surgery to address hamstring woes.

Beyond someone to lead the attack with the Cowboys, the team began to look for a wide receiver, despite having men like CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Tolbert, KaVontae Turpin and Brandin Cooks

The search extends to Arizona

According to reports reproduced by Sports Illustrated from Ryan Gosling (the Pro Football Network analyst, not the actor) Dallas would look to draft Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan.

McMillan is a big-bodied receiver with a knack for making contested catches. His strong hands and body control make him a reliable target in tight spaces, and his ability to win in the red zone would elevate the Cowboys’ offense,” the analyst noted, mentioning one small problem that separates McMillan from Dallas.

To get McMillan, Dallas has to move up to the ninth overall pick. This move could cost them their second-round pick, something Jerry Jones would not be looking to risk in his role as general manager.

The only hope for Dallas and McCarthy is to hope for an improvement from CeeDee Lamb, who is questionable to play against the Carolina Panthers due to ailments. Lamb played last Monday against Cincinnati, but this affected him physically and he has not practiced with the team during the week
