Joe Burrow recently spoke out on what he thought about the Cincinnati Bengals maybe not continuing with wide receiver, Tee Higgins. According to circulating rumors, Higgins may not be a part of the Bengals squad in the next season, and this clearly irked quarterback Joe Burrow. The 28-year-old expressed his disappointment with the rumors in a press meet recently.

Cincinnati has been leaning heavily on QB Joe Burrow ever since he joined the team in 2020. Under his leadership on offense, the Bengals are ranked third in the AFC North after winning five games and losing eight so far. In their latest matchup, Cincinnati played the Dallas Cowboys and won the game, 27-20, with Burrow scoring three TDs in total. In a press conference on Wednesday, Burrow commented on Higgins’ importance in the team.

“I’d be very disappointed. He’s very important. It’s not even just his production, it’s his presence, how he comes to work every day, how the defenses have to play us when he’s out there… I don’t think you can quite put a value on that.” Burrow said in the press conference.
