BREAKING: Browns announce a series of injury updates for key players entering Week 15

Browns announce a series of injury updates for key players entering Week 15

The Cleveland Browns have a record of 3-10, but their path does not get any easier as they revealed injury updates to a flurry of key players, including linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and cornerback Martin Emerson Jr.

To make matters worse, the Browns are now set to take on the back-to-back Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15. Their season is over and they are battling for 2025 NFL draft positioning more than anything else with key top 10 players in the class within their reach. However, losing key players to injury is as demoralizing as the continued losing late into a lost season in 2024.

Especially in a lost season, the Browns need these players to stay healthy so they can evaluate their roster for the future. That is hard to do when players who need to be evaluated are not on the field.

So what was all of the injury news released by the Browns? It goes beyond just Owusu-Koramoah and Emerson Jr. as the team gave six injury updates in total. Let’s talk about all of them here:

DT Mike Hall Jr.

Mike Hall Jr. is eligible for return from Injured Reserve this week. Kevin Stefanski has stated the team is working through his recovery. Getting him back on the field for the last four games would be huge from an evaluation standpoint.

CB Greg Newsome II
