Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark (97) recovers a fumble by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brandon Allen during the fourth quarter of their game Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Green Bay Packers are coming off a tough 34-31 loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday night at Ford Field, which also greatly deems the chances of Matt LaFleur’s team from winning the NFC North division.

Despite the Packers getting handed two losses by Detroit in the 2024 NFL season, Green Bay defensive tackle Kenny Clark doesn’t think the Lions have completely eroded the Packers’ confidence in this matchup.

“We lost by three points,” Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark said. “We played good football; we’ve played good games. They’re not a team that we’re scared of by any means.”

The Packers lost to Detroit at Lambeau Field back in Week 9 to the tune of a 24-14 score, thus snapping the Packers’ four-game losing skid at that time. After the first loss to the Lions, Green Bay went on another hot stretch, winning three games in a row until getting humbled anew by Detroit on Thursday.

The rematch saw the Packers being a much bigger threat to the Lions, with Green Bay storming back from a 10-point halftime deficit and grabbing a four-point lead early in the fourth quarter. However, the Lions made timely executions on both ends of the field to get the lead back and secure yet another win at the expense of Clark and company.

The 9-4 Packers will look to get back on track in Week 15 when they take on Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
