Now that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have solid year of dating under their belts, the pressure is on for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to plan the perfect thing for the pop star’s upcoming 35th birthday on December 13—and according to Page Six, he has a few surprises in mind to make sure that her big day is one to remember.
“This is a milestone birthday for Taylor so he wants to make it extra special,” a source told the outlet. Kelce is reportedly doing everything he can to keep his surprise for Swift under wraps, and has only told those in his close circle of friends what his plans for her are. “Travis has only let a few of those closest to him know what he has in store for Taylor because he doesn’t want to ruin any surprises,” the source added.

The football player also has Christmas on the brain, which tracks, as Swift’s birthday is less than two weeks before the big holiday touches down. The source explained that Kelce “has been shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now” and takes the shopping very seriously, as he’s “not the type to leave these things to the last minute so he’s been picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance.”
Kelce has taken the sneaky approach to how he’s been choosing presents for Swift, with the source explaining that “some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like. Travis makes sure to always listen even when Taylor doesn’t realize he is.”

Swift’s birthday and Christmas this year, however, may not go exactly how she would like because Kelce is playing a Christmas Day game with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The footballer, though, has every intention of being there for the pop star, regardless of the time conflicts: “Although he’ll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her,”
