BREAKING: Fans Are Saying the Same Thing About Dan Campbell After Lions-Packers

The Detroit Lions made franchise history on Thursday night by securing their 11th straight win. This was after they took down their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, at Ford Field in what turned out to be a hard-fought 34-31 victory.

In the process, the Lions also clinched a spot in the playoffs as they improved to a league-best 12-1 record. To say that it was a big night for the Lions would be an understatement.

Detroit would not have gotten the win on Thursday had it not been for head coach Dan Campbell. In fact, they likely would not be where they are right now if it weren’t for Campbell’s decision-making on the sidelines.

This was on full display on Thursday night as the 48-year-old made one of the boldest calls you’ll see all year long.

With the game tied at 31-31 and just 43 seconds remaining on the clock, the Lions found themselves at fourth-and-inches at the Packers’ 21-yard line. Instead of making the obvious call and attempting a field goal, Campbell decided to go for it.

The daring decision paid off for Campbell and the Lions as David Montgomery secured the first down after rushing for seven yards. This eventually led to Jake Bates kicking a game-winning field goal without giving the Packers any time to try and tie the contest.

The fans on X ended up saying the same thing about Campbell after seeing his massive risk pay dividends for the Lions.

“Dan campbells balls are too big. Absolute psychopath,” a comment read.

“The BIGGEST nuts in the HISTORY of the NFL. Detroit Lions HC Dan Campbell is the COACH OF THE YEAR. SWEET MOTHER MARY. THIS TEAM,” wrote a fan.

“Dan Campbell has BALLS OF STEEL,” posted NFL reporter Dov Kleiman.

“Dan Campbell is the most ‘true to himself’ coach I’ve ever seen in any sport ever. The balls to call that fourth down play…it’s who he is and he’s clearly unafraid to answer for it if it goes wrong,” reacted a fan.

“Damn, Dan Campbell has balls of steel. The Lions are the most fun team to watch in all of football,” declared another.

“Insane play call to go for it on 4th down there, but who can argue these results??? Titanium balls Dan Campbell strikes again baby!! Go Lions!!!” a supporter wrote.

Clearly, Campbell’s audacity has left quite an impression on the folks on social media.
