Beating the Packers and strengthening a grip on the NFC North just became that much more difficult.

The Detroit Lions will be without the services of defensive linemen Josh Paschal (knee), Levi Onwuzurike (hamstring) and DJ Reader (shoulder) and offensive tackle Taylor Decker (knee) against Green Bay on Thursday. None of the four key linemen practiced this week, so their absences were expected, but it doesn’t make it much of an easier pill to swallow.
Decker has missed two games this season, and the Lions have plugged veteran Dan Skipper in his place each time. As far as replacements along the defensive line, expect Detroit to lean on healthy pieces like Brodric Martin, Za’Darius Smith, Alim McNeill, Al-Quadin Muhammad and Pat O’Connor.
The Lions debuts of Myles Adams and Jonah Williams are likely also imminent. Both were added to Detroit’s active roster Saturday, joining from the practice squads of the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams, respectively. Adams has played in three games this season, while Williams has appeared in six.
