The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a Super Bowl 60 win over the New England Patriots and an eight-player 2026 NFL Draft class.
They have some ammo for next year’s draft, but if they want to try to maximize their 2026 Super Bowl odds, they could look to further bolster their offense.

Bleacher Reports’ Kristopher Knox named the Seahawks as trade suitors for a New England Patriots 23-year-old wide receiver. Kayshon Boutte, who’s been rumored to be on the block, would be a fascinating pickup for the Seahawks this offseason.
Seahawks named as suitors for Kayshon Boutte
“Potential suitors: Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks,” Knox writes on Boutte’s trade options this offseason.
What makes this link to the Seahawks so interesting from Knox is that the Seattle offense doesn’t actually need to add someone like Boutte.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba just signed a massive extension worth over $160 million, Cooper Kupp is still under contract for the 2026 season, and they also brought back Rashid Shaheed for a few more years.
Add in Tory Horton and Jake Bobo, and the Seahawks don’t even have a need for depth at the WR position this upcoming season.
And yet, Knox named the Seahawks as a potential suitor for Boutte. The 23-year-old receiver, who has a Day 3 pick value in a trade as he’s heading into the final year of his rookie deal, is an interesting player.
He has 1,159 yards in his three-year career, with 551 coming in 2025 and 589 in 2024. He finally broke out in year two and was even better in year three with Drake Maye, as he caught six touchdowns from the Patriots QB.
If Seattle does want to add another receiver to their depth chart, someone like Boutte, who has shown some solid production already in his career and is still young, and won’t cost too much, would be a great option.
John Schneider is not likely to pull the trigger on such a trade for Boutte, but it’s at least an interesting hypothetical, as Boutte joining this WR room would make for some troubling matchups for opposing defenses in 2026.
