BREAKING: Chiefs get massive injury boost before Raiders showdown

The Chiefs have received a massive injury boost ahead of their Black Friday game against the Raiders, as Isiah Pacheco was able to log a full practice on Tuesday according to the team’s injury report.

Pacheco, the team’s starting running back when healthy, hasn’t played since Week 2 after fracturing his fibula.

The 25-year-old has been listed with an ankle injury and was able to practice in a limited fashion three times last week. He was ultimately ruled out for Kansas City’s game against the Panthers.

Now, Pacheco looks set to make his return to the field as the Chiefs host their AFC West foes from Las Vegas.

Pacheco’s injury hasn’t slowed down the 10-1 Chiefs too much, as Kareem Hunt has been able to keep Kansas City’s ground game moving in his stead.

Hunt, who is in his second stint with the team after they drafted him in 2017, has 577 rushing yards and five touchdowns in eight games.

Nonetheless, Pacheco is expected to take back over as starter after he played a pivotal role in the team’s Super Bowl win last year.

While Pacheco is expected back this week, the Chiefs could also welcome back another key offensive piece on Christmas.

Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown has spent the entire season to date on injured reserve after dislocating his sternoclavicular joint in a preseason game,

But CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported over the weekend that the receiver could be back as early as December 25.
