BEREA, Ohio (WOIO) – The new Cleveland Browns coach will hold his first official news conference at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus Tuesday.

Todd Monken was officially hired on Jan. 28.

Monken, 59, was most recently the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.

Monken previously served as the Browns’ offensive coordinator in 2019, giving him familiarity with the organization and the city as he steps into his new role.

“He is an outstanding leader and has a clear vision to lead our team as a strong communicator who values trust with his players but also accountability and preparation,” said Dee and Jimmy Haslam.

With a defense already among the league’s best, the Browns’ decision to bring in an offensive-minded head coach signals a clear effort to fix a unit that has struggled to find consistency.
