The Cincinnati Bengals are on to the offseason, which has fans closely watching what happens with players.
There is, for example, some random Joe Burrow stuff going on, whether it’s his public outings or outright faked nonsense.
There are also happenings around some key free agents such as offensive lineman Dalton Risner.
The Risner family recently shared that they’ve purchased a new home, albeit with a notable locale:
It’s probably best not to read too much into this, of course. The location not being Cincinnati means very little in football terms. If Risner returns to the Bengals, it wouldn’t be on a long-term deal, anyway, so buying a “dream home” in Cincinnati wouldn’t really be a thing. Plenty of players have permanent residences away from their NFL teams.
Risner has said he wants to be back. And Bengals coaches have made it pretty clear they want him back, too. He was a key part of the best offensive line for Burrow to date, so fans should probably feel free to salute his family for the big purchase and otherwise not overthink it in football terms.
