The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are facing off in Super Bowl LX. Drake Maye and the Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos in the AFC championship to secure their ticket to the big game, while Sam Darnold and the Seahawks took down the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC title.
Seattle enters the game as the favorites. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives the Seahawks a 59.5% chance to win, while the Patriots are at 40.5%.
Several NFL experts echoed the same sentiment, with former NFL player Dan Orlovsky saying that the “Patriots’ offense isn’t good enough to beat this Seattle defense.” Jeremy Fowler of ESPN added that the Seahawks are the “most complete team in the league” and that “they can win in several different styles.”

Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons seems to agree with the current Super Bowl conversation. On X, he also shared his prediction, noting that he sees the game becoming like a Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier fight where both teams will exchange blows in an intense showdown.
However, Parsons believes that the Patriots won’t be able to overcome the Seahawks and will eventually lose.
“This Super Bowl gonna be like Ali vs Frazier but I don’t think patriots will survive Seahawks punches!” Parsons wrote.
The Seahawks boast an elite defense and offense, so it’s no surprise why they are favored to win this year’s Super Bowl. They allowed the fewest points in the NFL during the regular season (17.2), while scoring the third-most per game (28.4).
In the divisional round, Seattle showed its stingy defense by limiting a San Francisco 49ers team featuring Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey to a pair of field goals.
Still, it’s hard to completely write off the Patriots. They have an MVP finalist on their side in Maye, who led the NFL in QB rating (77.1) and pass completion percentage (72%) during the 2025 season.
Against the Broncos in the AFC championship, Maye scored the only touchdown of the game with a six-yard rush, proving that he can make plays both with his arms and legs.
The Patriots and Seahawks will play for the Super Bowl title on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium.
