The Detroit Lions 2026 offseason is underway.
The club has 20 pending unrestricted free agents set to hit the market when the new league year begins March 11. The Lions have limited cap space in 2026, but have some key free agents, mostly on defense, including linebacker Alex Anzalone, cornerback Amik Robertson and defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad.
We’re giving you the power to decide what the Lions should try to do with their free agents: Re-sign them or let them move on?
What fan doesn’t like to play general manager, anyway? What should GM Brad Holmes and the Lions’ decision makers do?

QB Kyle Allen
Age: 30.
Buzz: Won the backup job over Hendon Hooker in training camp; did not see meaningful action. Last started a game in 2022, and has 19 career starts, with 12 coming in 2019 with Carolina. Has 26 TDs against 21 INTs in the NFL. Jared Goff has started every game from 2022-25 to become the NFL’s most dependable QB.
WR Kalif Raymond

Buzz: Trustworthy veteran punt returner and slot receiver who usually makes the play when called upon. Had 24 catches for 289 yards and a touchdown in 15 games, and returned a punt for a touchdown for the third time in the past four seasons, though he averaged just 7.5 yards per return in 2025, down from 13.8 in 2024.
TE Shane Zylstra
Age: 29.
Buzz: Had three catches for 20 yards against the Steelers in Week 15, his only game with a target in six appearances, when the Lions were desperate for tight end production. Has dealt with injuries over the past three years.

Buzz: Started all 17 games in 2025, and had 28 total tackles, playing 53% of the defensive snaps for the second consecutive season. Did not have any sacks after registering three in 2024, and had just four QB hits. The Lions’ run defense fell apart late in the season, and his frustration boiled over to X, when he got in spats with fans after the loss to the Steelers.
DT Levi Onwuzurike
Age: 28.
Buzz: Missed the entire season after re-signing on a one-year, $3.5 million deal in March after playing a key role in 2024. The Lions did not know he needed surgery for a torn ACL in his knee, which he then underwent in the spring.
