NFL 2025 regular season power rankings as Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys flop in huge

THE clock is about to run out on the 2025 NFL season, and things certainly didn’t go as expected.

From the Kansas City Chiefs being eliminated from the playoffs to the New England Patriots winning 11 games, things were crazy this year.

Dallas Cowboys v Denver Broncos - NFL 2025

With just how wild the NFL season has been this year, we wanted to take a look at the league as a whole and rank the teams.

At the top, of course, is teams like the Los Angeles Rans, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills.

These are teams that have established themselves as the best of the best this year, and are almost guaranteed a playoff berth.

Below them are teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles.

These are a few teams that might not be at the top of their pack in their respective conferences, but are still fighting hard and will likely make the playoffs.

Many of these teams also have stellar defensive units.

One of the biggest shocks of the season is just how far down the board teams like the Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys fall.

In our rankings, the Cowboys come in at No. 18 while the Chiefs fell all the way to No. 20.

Both the Chiefs and the Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs.

At the bottom of our list are the kinds of teams you would expect.

The New York Jets, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, and Las Vegas Raiders all fall to the bottom of the rankings.

They will be picking at the top of the NFL Draft in 2026.
