Losing to the Chicago Bears wasn’t the most destructive thing to happen to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night at Soldier Field.
As if quarterback Jordan Love getting knocked into the concussion protocol late in the first half weren’t bad enough, backup Malik Willis suffered a shoulder injury late in the game after sustaining a brutal hit.
After tumbling down the NFC North standings after falling to the Bears, 22-16 in overtime, Green Bay faces significant questions entering a Saturday clash against the Baltimore Ravens with sights set on keeping their postseason hopes alive.
Packers could be without Jordan Love and Malik Willis vs. Baltimore Ravens

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, it could be a struggle to get Love or Willis back on the field and healthy enough in time for Saturday’s game.
“For Jordan Love this was a Saturday injury, but they play on Saturday so not an extra day to prepare,” Rapoport said on Monday’s edition of Good Morning Football. “Love is in the NFL’s concussion protocol. We will see whether he’s able to go, against the Baltimore Ravens.
“Every concussion is different, the way every player responds is different. You see that helmet to helmet hit, that was what knocked Jordan Love out of the game, and brought Malik Willis into the game. Malik Willis is suffering from a right shoulder injury late in the game. We’ll see if he’s able to play, we’ll see if Love is able to get on the practice field today or tomorrow for the Packers’ first practice of the week.”

Head coach Matt LaFleur’s team will have a unique practice schedule, given the back-to-back Saturday games. But, if neither Love or Willis are able to go, the Packers may be forced to turn to practice squad quarterback Clayton Tune, or a veteran free agent signed and gotten up to speed in a matter of days before one of the biggest games of Green Bay’s season.
