Taylor Swift has once again proven that her influence extends beyond music. As speculation grows surrounding the future of her fiancé, Travis Kelce, Swift is quietly making a very real impact on everyday life in the Kansas City area. This week, a small Missouri boutique found itself at the center of a Swiftie frenzy after the superstar appeared in a newly released episode of her docuseries wearing one of its sweatshirts.

Taylor Swift Boosts Kansas City Boutique After Docuseries Appearance

A locally owned boutique in Liberty, Missouri, called Love Letters, saw an immediate influx of attention after Swift appeared wearing one of its vintage Kansas City crewnecks in the third episode of her docuseries.

The moment occurred about five minutes into the episode during a costume fitting in New York City, but it didn’t take long for fans to connect the dots. Swifties quickly tracked down the sweatshirt, sending the store’s phones ringing early Friday morning.

Love Letters shared the experience on Facebook, calling the moment “surreal” and saying they were “over the moon” about the exposure. The boutique later provided a statement to FOX4 describing just how quickly things changed.

“It feels completely surreal. We’re pinching ourselves and so proud to see something we created being worn by Taylor Swift!!! It’s a dream moment for our small business,” the statement read. “We’ve got all hands on deck to get these printed and ready for all our fellow Swifties!”

The store credited fashion account @taylorswiftstyled for helping fans identify the sweatshirt and announced that pre-orders are now available online, with new inventory expected to be ready for in-store pickup as early as the next day.

Travis Kelce Addresses Retirement Timeline as Chiefs Season Nears End

While Swift’s outfit was making headlines off the field, Kelce was facing renewed questions about his future with the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran tight end is in the final year of his contract, and the team has already been eliminated from playoff contention with three weeks left in the season.

Kelce previously acknowledged that he plans to make a decision about retirement before free agency opens in March, allowing the team time to prepare for next season.

“Seeing my brother go through it, and seeing how the league works, the season re-starts in April, and I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity, whether I come back or not,” Kelce said last month. “I’d like to make that decision before they’ve got to get draft picks and free agency opens.”

Despite the looming decision, Kelce has remained firm that his focus is on finishing the season strong. After declining to speak following a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Kelce later addressed the situation directly.

“I’m focused on trying to win football games,” Kelce said.

He expanded on that mindset in comments shared by Pro Football Talk, emphasizing his commitment to the team during the final stretch of the season.

“I’d rather keep the focus of the media and everything on this team right now,” Kelce said. “Just trying to make sure that everybody here knows that I’m focused on trying to win football games.”

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. CT (Central Time).
