BREAKING NEWS: Potential Patriots Trade Target Posts Concerning Video On Social Media

The New England Patriots are currently fully focused on their upcoming Week 16 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. However, their front office already likely has an eye on the offseason, where disgruntled San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk could emerge as a potential target for the team.

Aiyuk has been floated as a trade target for New England over the past couple of years, but he hasn’t played for San Francisco at all this season due to a dispute with the team. As a result, reports indicate the two sides are likely to part ways this upcoming offseason.

While there is quite a bit of drama surrounding Aiyuk, his play on the field when he’s been healthy makes him a guy worth considering for the Patriots. However, he recently shared a video of himself driving over 90 MPH past the Niners’ stadium, Levi’s Stadium, which is well over the speed limit in that area.

There’s been a lot of mystery and mystique surrounding Aiyuk’s stunning fall from grace with the 49ers. Whatever the reason may be, though, he will likely be up for grabs, and if the Patriots want him, now may be the time to pounce.

In 2023, Aiyuk enjoyed a breakout campaign, as he caught 75 passes for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns, earning him a spot on the All-Pro Second Team. After getting a four-year, $120 million contract, Aiyuk struggled in seven games last season (25 REC, 374 YDS) before suffering a torn ACL, which ended his season.

Serious questions surround Aiyuk, and it remains to be seen how much interest he will draw over the offseason. If the price is right, though, he could be worth taking a flier on, as New England needs all the top-end wide receiver talent that it can get.
