Bears vs. Browns: The matchup

The Bears had a five-game win streak snapped by the Green Bay Packers (28-21) in Week 14 at Lambeau Field, dropping to 9-4 on the season and sitting second in the NFC North behind the Packers (9-4). Chicago plays three of its final four games at home to close out the season, which comes down to a potential high-stakes finale Week 18 against the Detroit Lions. The Bears own the second-most productive ground attack (152.6 ypg) in the NFL and ride an improving second-year quarterback in Caleb Williams who has shown the ability to win close-and-late type games.
The Browns are still evaluating what they might have at quarterback with rookie fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders. He and the Browns delivered 364 passing yards, and Sanders accounted for all four of the team’s touchdowns with three touchdown passes and a 14-yard scoring run. While Cleveland lost (31-29) that matchup, Sanders did deliver a second straight performance where his single-game passer rating was above 90. The Browns go into Week 15 with a 3-10 overall record that currently gives them the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
