Browns roster brings back defensive back on Thursday - Yahoo Sports

The Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears might have to face Arctic temperatures in Week 15. The Bears are fighting for their playoff spot and position, while the Browns season is all about the future and QB Shedeur Sanders. Injuries are also dominating the news for Cleveland’s roster, leading to a ton of players missing practice on Wednesday after a load of moves on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

GM Andrew Berry is often active with roster decisions, especially at this time of the season. That continued on Thursday with the return of S Christopher Edmonds, to the Browns practice squad, after being released from the 53-man roster on Wednesday:

Edmonds (6-2, 210) is officially in his first NFL season out of Arizona State. Originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2024, Edmonds has appeared in seven career games, including five this season. Edmonds will wear No. 41.

In those seven games, Edmonds has played 113 snaps on special teams and seven on defense and is credited with six combined tackles.
