Report: Chiefs tackle Wanya Morris out for the season

The banged up Kansas City Chiefs offensive line has taken another hit.

Left tackle Wanya Morris, who was injured on the first offensive play of the game against the Houston Texans, will miss the rest of the season due to an injured knee, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Morris was starting in place of Josh Simmons, who is on the injured reserve list and will miss at least the next three games.

Jaylon Moore was filling in for starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor, who also missed Sunday’s game with an injury.

“Wanya’s (injury) did not look good, but we’ll be able to get you that later as we go,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said on Monday.

The Chiefs have not confirmed the news.
