Kansas City Chiefs team president Mark Donovan appeared as a guest on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, sharing his thoughts on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s public presence and impact during games.
“Taylor’s (Swift) been amazing to us. It’s been nothing but good. She is a phenomenon. She is just a special kind of person,” Donovan said. “I told Travis (Kelce), ‘Look, we are going to treat you and your relationship with the same respect that we treat any other player or coach’s relationship. It’s a relationship. We’re not going to monetize it, we’re not going to go out there and go crazy.”
"We never showed Taylor on our big board in our stadium, never. It was respectful… We're not taking advantage of this relationship."

The Chiefs haven’t followed the television trend of showing Swift on the stadium Jumbotron out of respect for the couple.
“We never showed Taylor on our big boards in our stadium, never. He scores a touchdown. He makes a catch. It goes to Taylor. Especially the first year,” said Donovan, “We never showed Taylor on our big boards in our stadium, never.” It was respectful. We’re not going to do that.”
Donovan stressed how Kelce has remained focused on the team and that the franchise has no interest in capitalizing on the fake of their relationship.
