A top NFL injury insider has noted that the 26-year-old wide receiver likely suffered the brain injury while going for a catch against the Lions.

Lamb was going for a touchdown catch during the third quarter.

He failed to make the catch with his helmet hitting the turf as he went to ground.

Dr. Evan Jeffries has noted on social media that Lamb displayed the posturing response as he laid in the end zone.

Ceedee Lamb went into “POSTURING” after his head hit the ground,” Jeffries posted on X.

“This is the Immediate sign for a Concussion.”

Posturing is otherwise known as the fencing response.

It is an involuntary reflex where the individual extends one arm and flexes the other.

The wideout was immediately removed from play and did not return to action against the Lions.

His absence was noticed as the Lions claimed a 44-30 win against the Cowboys.

Multiple ESPN stars criticized the refereeing as the Cowboys were handed a controversial offensive pass interference penalty.

Lamb has been in the spotlight throughout the 2025 NFL season.

The receiver was benched against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11.

Rumors spread that he was spotted partying on the morning of their game.

But Lamb hit back at this speculation and responded with a touchdown to send the Cowboys to victory in Sin City.

The wide receiver has admitted his struggles after being benched as he made 121 yards from six receptions against the Lions.

Lamb has been listed as questionable ahead of the Cowboys’ next game at AT&T Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 14.

They remain in the hunt for a playoff position as the Cowboys sit second in the NFC East with six wins, six losses, and one tie.

Rumors spread that he was spotted partying on the morning of their game.
