Chiefs-Cowboys first half recap:
Patrick Mahomes threw two first-quarter touchdown passes, but the Chiefs trail the Dallas Cowboys 17-14 at halftime on Thanksgiving Day.
Mahomes is 9 of 12 for 89 yards and two scores, connecting with Rice from 27 yards out and Travis Kelce on a 2-yard strike.
Hunt has 45 rushing yards, and the Chiefs have 90 yards on the ground overall.
Dallas answered with a long scoring drive capped Prescott’s 15-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb, then took the lead late in the second quarter when Malik Davis broke free for a 43-yard scoring run. Prescott has 160 yards passing with one TD and one interception, picked off by Watson in the first quarter.
The Cowboys outgained Kansas City 224-169 in the first half and converted 5 of 8 third-down attempts.
The Chiefs will receive the second-half kickoff.

0:27 – Simmons is called for his third penalty of the game, this one wiping out an illegal contact penalty that would have provided the Chiefs an automatic first down.
0:37 – Simmons is called for his second holding penalty in a crucial moment, knocking Kansas City out of Butker’s range.
3:10 – Malik Davis’ 43-yard touchdown gives Dallas its first lead of the game. It caps an eight-play, 85-yard drive that included multiple third-down conversions. Dallas is approaching 250 yards of total offense in the first half.
The Cowboys lead 17-14.

5:02 – Dallas’ early success continues on third and long. Prescott picks up another third down conversion, as Dallas improves to 4-of-7 for the game.
6:03 – The Chiefs’ third drive stalls, in part after a holding call on Josh Simmons.
10:22 – Dallas answered with a steady drive of its own, moving 53 yards on 10 plays before settling for a 49-yard Brandon Aubrey field goal early in the second quarter. The Chiefs’ defense stiffened near the 30, forcing a fourth-and-3 stop that brought out Aubrey, who drilled the kick to pull the Cowboys within 14-10.

END OF ONE: Kansas City punched back with a 12-play, 72-yard drive capped by a Travis Kelce touchdown with one second left in the first quarter.
The Chiefs leaned on the ground game to set the tone. Hunt ripped off chunk gains of 14 and 7 yards, and Xavier Worthy sprinted around the edge for 17 more. Mahomes kept the march alive with a 16-yard scramble into the red zone.
Mahomes delivered on fourth and goal, firing a quick strike to Kelce over the middle for a 2-yard score.

6:50 – Dallas converts on another third and long, as Prescott finds Lamb on a 15-yard touchdown pass.
