Cowboys star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams sent an emotional tribute to his wife, Maranda, following Dallas’ come-from-behind win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Last Sunday, the Cowboys secured a miraculous 24-21 victory over the Eagles after receiving an impromptu pep talk from Terry Bradshaw. Despite trailing by as many as 21 in the first half, Dallas responded with 24 unanswered points — thereby matching the largest comeback in franchise history.

Williams played a pivotal role in the comeback, helping limit the Eagles to just 63 rushing yards on 18 carries. Since being traded by the New York Jets to Dallas earlier this month, the 27-year-old ranks first in pressures (15) and pass rush win rate (27.1 percent) among all defensive lineman.

Fresh off the dominant performance, however, Williams’ mind was far from the gridiron. Taking to social media, he wished his “sexy” wife a happy birthday in a touching post.

“Help me Wish my amazing sexy smart wonderful wife a HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY,” Williams wrote on Instagram. “I wouldn’t be the player, person or Dad with you baby I love you enjoy your day beautiful.”

Williams and Maranda first met at a restaurant back in 2017 while she was visiting her cousin, who was being recruited by the Alabama product to play for the Crimson Tide.

The pair soon after began dating before tying the knot in July 2022 and welcoming their daughter, True, a year later.

Their relationship was placed in the spotlight during Prime Video’s program, “The Home Team: New York Jets.” The six-part docuseries followed six Jets players and their partners as they navigated life away from the NFL during the 2024 season.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Maranda conceded that she was initially hesitant to greenlight her appearance on the show. “I just couldn’t see myself even being interested in that,” she said.

“It was like, ‘Cool. Oh, my gosh, no way,’ but then it’s like, ‘Whoa, is this reality? Let’s pause.’ Then once I got to the documentary side, it was like, ‘Okay, this is a great fit for me and my family.’

“It was something new and different. I didn’t really know how to feel going into it, but as we started going through it, it started feeling a bit more normal. It feels good, especially seeing the finished product now.

“That’s the most exciting part. We have these memories hardcore, they’re nice, they’re professional, so I love that.”

While watching the documentary for the first time, Maranda saw a different side to Williams that she didn’t know he had. “I got to learn some things about my husband that I didn’t know existed on the football side,” she explained.

“I didn’t know he has such a potty mouth! That was new to me. I was like, ‘This is how we talk?’ And then the throwing the helmet part, I was like, ‘This is what you do? Wow,’ and he’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m a different guy on the field than I am at home.’”
