Here we go again. Unpleasantries renewed… The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals renew their feud with a Thanksgiving showdown. This is the 60th meeting between these two in Baltimore’s 30-year history.
The Ravens hold a 32-27 advantage in the all-time series and have won four straight. This comes after the Bengals had taken four of the previous five meetings.
Maybe they’ll feast together once this is done. Nope… They probably won’t. This is AFC North football. Buckle up for some physical and personal stuff.
Cincinnati gets its quarterback back. That sets up a nice duel at that position for Lamar Jackson.
Joe Burrow, quarterback
Cincinnati’s ace is back. Week 13’s game marks his first since September. He has thrown two TDs and zero interceptions in two games this season. Joe Flacco and Jake Browning have done all they can do to hold serve in his absence, but let’s be frank. This team is at its best with Mr. Burrow in the lineup.
Ja’Marr Chase, wide receiver
Ja’Marr Chase is back, and we hope we never have to hear another story about a player spitting again. You also want to keep an eye on Andrei Iosivas, but this is the guy that Baltimore wants to keep from heating up. Tee Higgins is dealing wth a concussion, which will keep him from playing.
Noah Fant, tight end
Noah Fant has hauled in 31 of his 35 targets. He has racked up 265 yards receiving. 12 of his catches have resulted in first down yardage, and his three TD receptions rank third behind Chase and Higgins.
Chase Brown, running back
Samaje Perine is a talented runner, but Cincinnati’s ground game runs through Chase Brown. He leads all Bengals tailbacks in carries (145), yards rushing (626), first-down runs (35), and rushing TDs (two). He has also caught 41 passes for 252 yards and another touchdown.
Charlie Jones, wide receiver/punt returner
Special teams could play a role in games like this one, especially if Charlie Jones gets his hands on the ball. He has returned 11 punts for 108 yards, and he has racked up 926 yards and a TD on 36 kickoff returns.
Orlando Brown, left tackle
Protecting Joe Burrow’s blind side is left tackle Orlando Brown. He’s a six-foot-eight mountain weighing 350 pounds.
