The Dallas Cowboys’ woes at AT&T Stadium continued on “Monday Night Football,” suffering a 34-10 defeat to the Houston Texans. The loss extended their winless streak at home this season, with every defeat coming by at least 20 points. Injuries to key players, including Zack Martin, Jake Ferguson, and Tyler Smith, only deepened Dallas’ struggles.
But that hasn’t stopped Micah Parsons from talking because … well, nothing much does.
Former Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz, now with the Texans, wasted no time trolling his former team. Schultz, who has been vocal in his criticism of Dallas, shared a playful jab on X the following day. In the video, Schultz poured creamer into coffee cups, spelling out, “The Houston Texans are the best team in Texas.”
Cowboys star pass rusher Parsons addressed Schultz’s antics on his podcast, The Edge, alongside cornerback Trevon Diggs.
“I actually saw Dalton Schultz put some little coffee troll thing on Twitter. I was like, ‘What the (expletive)?’ That little petty sidebar now that you’re over there. … (Schultz had) no impact and on Twitter? Come on,” Parsons said.
Schultz contributed a team-high five receptions for 33 yards in the Texans’ victory, so it was far from a dominant performance. The tight end previously made headlines for calling the Cowboys’ facility tours a “zoo,” so Schultz – who was once a vital asset to the Cowboys and beloved by the fan base – has since leaving had some fun being quite critical of the “America’s Team.”
🚨WOW: #Cowboys MICAH PARSONS RIPS THE #TEXANS & DALTON SCHULTZ FOR CELEBRATING THEIR WIN IN DALLAS

But wait. If Micah’s point is that a guy shouldn’t talk big unless he was the star producer in a win … how is it Parsons is talking at all? Micah did collect some pressures but in the end totaled one assisted tackle. … and yet, Parsons not only announced after the game that the Cowboys remain “a damn good football team” but is now trying to mock the team that just beat him 34-10?
And the “Best Team in Texas” argument has sort of been handled, right?
The Cowboys, now 3-7 and winless at home, face the Washington Commanders in week 12 at Northwest Stadium. With playoff hopes fading, Dallas must quickly address its issues on both sides of the ball to regain any real respectability – “real respectability” meaning something more than trying to win Twitter debates.
