The Cleveland Browns, sitting at 2-9 on the season, have made a handful of roster moves, with a few more moves to be made.
As they get set to take on the one-win Las Vegas Raiders, perhaps one of their final shots at a win in 2025, the Browns have placed one rookie on Injured Reserve, have waived another, and are set to add another cornerback to the roster. Undrafted rookie free agent Dom Jones has been placed on IR with a knee injury. An additional move they made was waiving another undrafted rookie wide receiver in Kaden Davis.
This means the Browns now have two open roster spots to work with ahead of Sunday’s game. One is supposedly reserved for cornerback D’Angelo Ross. The player’s agency announced the move yesterday. It could be assumed, with Dillon Gabriel likely out on Sunday with a concussion, that the Browns could be signing quarterback Bailey Zappe to the active roster.
We’ll see how the Browns opt to fill that last roster spot with five days until they take on the Raiders.
